1. Unfortunately I have spent much time in oncology with my mothers 7 year battle with cancer she lost at age 42. Discovering I was BRACA 1 was something scarey. Deciding to have a double mastectomy was a hard decision. I did my research and was prepared. After my surgery, Ashley was my day nurse several days in a row. I was not prepared for the emotions and seeing myself afterwards and the questions. Ashley is a gem and was compassionate,kind and encouraging. I could not have done this without HER!!
2. Excellent interpersonal skills with family members and patient.Very focused.Dedicated to compassion. Demonstrates both knowledge and compassion as well.
3. Ashley came to my room on Sunday to make sure that I understood my medication administration. Ashley was not my nurse that day, but she could hear the concern in my voice each time I called the nurses station. Although there were a lot of patients on the unit, Ashley continued to look in on me for the remainder of her shift. She put me at ease with her genuine smile and caring disposition. She truely helped me!
4. Ashley was very sweet and compassionate when she was my nurse. She always went out of her way to make sure I was as comfortable as possible and I had everything I needed.
