Audrey balanced encouragement with actual medical needs.
I had the pleasure of having Audrey as my RN several times. Every time, I experienced a very skilled nurse who did a great job prioritizing her workload to meet the complex needs of her assigned patients. She is a very empathic and compassionate nurse with excellent multi-tasking skills, hearing, listening, and communication skills.
Audrey fully understood my personal anxieties, confusion, and physical limitations. Audrey did not make me feel like a bother. Audrey balanced encouragement with actual medical needs. For example, Audrey did not compare me to other patients. Audrey did a great job listening to my personal concerns about myself. She was also very encouraging. Saying thank you does not feel strong enough compared to the gratitude in my heart. Audrey certainly fulfills the role of being a nurse. My heart describes her as an Angel from Heaven. Audrey really does a great job multitasking and generally, she was on her way to my room with my medication before I pushed the call button. One example of Audrey prioritizing well was when in my room, she kept an ear open towards the hallway so that she could hear if any of the patients needed immediate attention. Audrey is great!
