In my opinion, Autumn exhibits all of the qualities of an outstanding Rn as recognized by the DAISY Award. She has the perfect combination of skill, care, and compassion in serving the needs of both patients and families in the ICU. My husband is at OSF for his third significant open cardiac procedure since 2006. Autumn has assisted with his recovery from all three procedures. She not only exhibits excellent nursing skills in caring for my husband but extraordinary communication skills in keeping my family informed. She goes out of her way to keep us informed of any significant changes to Greg's care. She makes good decisions and works well with all of the members of my husband's healthcare team.
