When I was first sent to Riverside for monitoring, Autumn was one of the first people to help us. She was extremely welcoming and kind. Normally, when you are a first-time mom, young people tend to treat you like you do not know anything or try to make you second-guess any decision you make.

Autumn made us feel comfortable enough to ask any questions that we had and made us feel like no question was a stupid question. I was thankful to have Autumn take care of us that day, but I would also like to talk about my C-section day.

I was also blessed to have her on my care team. I was nervous about having a C-section because I had never had any surgeries or medical problems before. I never felt unheard that day. I had an issue that morning, and Autumn was the first person I told. Instead of her dismissing me and saying it is just part of pregnancy, she took me seriously and got me help.

She was also in the operating room and helped me through everything. Even after, she still came to check on me while we were in recovery. I have dealt with many people during this pregnancy, especially due to being high risk, and no one has ever made me and my Fiancé that comfortable welcoming our babies into this world.
