I am from out of town and was here for a seminar when I became ill. Avinash was my night nurse. I am low maintenance and only needed my medication. I tried to explain to Avinash not to worry about me because I did not need much. This did not stop him from not only checking up on me but spending the time to really get to know me and speak with me. There are many qualities that I think are ideal for a nurse and Avinash exemplifies them all. His tone of voice is pleasant and low, he smiles every time he speaks to you, he checks up on you often. He shows compassion regardless of the level of need the patient has. The patient next to me was worse off than I was and did not speak, but Avinash was always speaking to her. Avinash would offer the person kind words of encouragement and explained everything in detail to her even though she was not responding verbally. He is informative and compassionate to all his patients. He even understood when I was having an issue with getting some quite time and offered many options to help accommodate my needs. He is a gentle soul with a permanent smile who gives you hope in a difficult situation. He shows love and passion for the profession.
