Ayme was very calming and super attentive and made sure that all of our questions were answered.
My mother was sent to the ED in Greeley by her oncologist in severe pain. Ayme was very calming and super attentive and made sure that all of our questions were answered. My mother has a very rare form of cancer. She has had a very long journey and the pain specialist came in to speak to me about my mother’s pain control; my aunt was in the room at the time and overheard the doctors speaking about palliative care. Once the doctor left the room my aunt turned to me and said, "You better prepare yourself; palliative care means your mom is at the end."

Once my aunt left, I stepped out and asked Ayme if she could explain to me what palliative care means. She took the time to explain that this is something to help with pain management for patients who have a long-term illness and there is a misconception at times. She explained that at times this is incorporated with end-of-life care but determined case by case. She has such a calm and gentle spirit. I wanted to thank Ayme for the great amazing care that she provided for my mother and the support that she provided for me as a family member. She went above and beyond her duties; more than just a job for Ayme. She is greatly appreciated. Thank you. Ayme went above and beyond to make sure my mother was cared for, comfortable, and clean and that her pain was under control. She provided warm blankets which means so much to my mother as she is always cold.
