She lives and treats people the way she would want to be treated. She has taught us that love needs action. Trust needs proof. And sorry needs change. Her integrity, inclusiveness, creativity, and leadership abilities are far beyond her years.
In a nutshell, Bailey is a fantastic leader who works diligently to make sure the unit runs smoothly. She is dedicated to the patient’s care and needs as well as to the staff. She engages with us and always gives us a listening ear.

7 South has been through so many changes in leadership over the years, and none of us saw Bailey coming. We had no manager and were spread on different units. She embraced us when those of us who were left got to move back home to the 7th floor. She showed us a positive force of compassion, honesty, creativity, and love. As we continued to battle the throes of Covid with her, she was always there for us, however she could be supportive. She never let us down. She was and still is such a strong voice for her staff. She played such a huge role in the comeback of 7South. I will never forget the time the managers did one of those unit raids to help us, this was before she was ours. And we made them give a covid positive patient a bath. That was the only reason some of us ate lunch that day, and others were able to catch up on charting or whatever. I knew then she was the real deal. She literally took the worst thing we threw at them and dove into it with cheerful spirits. And she walked away, sweating profusely but still with a smile on her face. She is a nurse’s nurse, and we saw her strengths right away. She is fair, accepting of all, and if we needed it, she would give us the shirt off her back without a second thought. She is fun, spontaneous, witty, and always up for a good time. And she by far has the best dance moves of any previous manager we have had. Even in the face of a major illness, she stood strong and diligent in her personal fight while still kicking butt and not missing a beat in her professional fight. She never complained. She never brought her struggles to the hospital and her courage and bravery throughout it all is still inspiring.

She lives and treats people the way she would want to be treated. She has taught us that love needs action. Trust needs proof. And sorry needs change. Her integrity, inclusiveness, creativity, and leadership abilities are far beyond her years. She has piloted and put into effect the ADT nurse on the 7th floor and her ideas and ability to implement them into action are like nothing I have ever seen.
