Balsam is a member of the Nursing Resource Team (NRT) and she floats to all medical and surgical units, which is a total of 14 units. Balsam is a seasoned RN with a wealth of knowledge in caring for complex medical and surgical patients. She willingly shares her expanded knowledge base with those who have less experience to promote the best clinical outcomes for our patients. She takes the time to educate patients and their families. Balsam's particular strengths are her exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Balsam has gained the trust and respect from unit leaders, our physician partners, her colleagues, and her leadership team. Her positive attitude and friendly demeanor make her a welcomed addition to any unit.
