When faced with an opportunity or new venture, this team is the first to be called to action by our system and region leadership. No challenge is too large for this team! They come together, lock arms, put on their creative thinking caps, and tackle the opportunity head on! The leaders and this team have created a positive practice environment and culture that promotes innovation, risk-taking, and a true spirit of inquiry! This group has always been a “high-performing” team.
However, during the past 18 months, this team has exceeded everyone’s expectations. From creating volumes of education to cross-training and preparing clinicians to provide safe, quality care during the pandemic to dropping everything to help the nursing team and provide direct patient care, this team is engaged and is always ready to be called to action.
Additionally, this team has implemented numerous orientations, internships, and courses to prepare existing team members for advanced practice and to orient new team members to the organization. Flexibility and positivity are key attributes of this group, as these team members willingly accepted frequent re-assignment to facilities and projects to support the nursing teams. This team is held in high regard for their leadership and support! Caring, Compassionate, Advocates for the Profession of Nursing; this team is the heart of BayCare Nursing Professional Development & Practice and Clinical Education Teams.
