My husband came to the ER for what we thought would be an in and out day. He had been bitten by a spider, and the bite was very swollen and causing him a lot of pain. It was during the Coronavirus so I was not allowed to come with him. After a few hours and multiple tests, he called saying they were taking him to surgery and I needed to come right away. He had gangrene and was septic.

When I got to his room in the ER, it was empty. I lost it and started to cry. All I could think of was I may never see him again. His nurse Becky came over and said, "Don't cry, it's gonna be all right". They just took him to surgery, if we hurry we can catch them. We were hurrying down the hall, and Becky said we could run if I wanted to, so half jogging we went down the hall to the elevator. They were just taking him through the surgery doors as we came down the hall. I got to kiss him and tell him how much I loved him all because of Becky.

There are no words to express how grateful I am to her for what she did for me and my husband. She truly is an amazing nurse.
