Belinda was taking care of an MR patient that had fallen at a care facility. The patient was admitted to the hospital with a brain bleed and was transferred to the ICU.
The patient was scared and kept talking about and asking for her baby doll. The patient had no family and no visitors. The patient talked about her parents who had died and were in heaven.
The patient continually asked for her baby doll. Belinda brought in a baby doll and blanket from home for the patient. This small act of kindness was a huge act for this patient. The patient was very happy to accept this doll, even though she knew it was not her doll baby. "Now I have 2 doll babies," she stated.
This is a true testament of Belinda's caring behavior. She shows true compassion every day to everyone.
