Ben was a very nice and caring person. No matter what I asked for he was there for me. He made my stay at MVH sooooooooo much nicer and easier. Thanks you, Ben!

I went for decompression surgery for three discs in my back. My nurse on the unit was Ben Fornshell. Now mind you, I am 60 years old and not used to a male nurse. For some reason I had this vision of not getting the care I would from a female nurse. I don't believe as a patient I was demanding. I do not know if Ben would agree, but I do know at the end of my stay, hands down Ben gave me the best care I could have ever asked for.

When I had to be moved or had to move, any movement caused pain. Ben asked questions, was very compassionate and took his time with me. He was always very professional by keeping me informed and telling me what to look out for. He communicated the good and the bad. He paid attention to detail in my demeanor. He was always like clock work with the meds to keep ahead of my pain.

MVH has an asset in Ben Fornshell. He is an exceptional nurse. I believe Ben has skills that can not be learned in a classroom. One mention of his name and all his coworkers have a great respect for him, too. MVH is a better place with Ben Fornshell.
