Jill was able to not only remove the restraints but had taken time to listen and sympathize with the patient that they ended up asking to speak with a chaplain regarding their faith practices by the end of her shift.
A Rapid Response was called on me while Jill was my nurse. I have never been so scared in my life. She comforted me and stayed by my side all the way to ICU. She kept me completely and totally going into a complete panic mode and flipping out. I appreciate everything she did for me that day. She is a true DAISY Nurse.

Jill is notorious for being the "go-to" nurse for difficult patients. The quality care she provides to these patients is well beyond what is expected of her as she makes certain that they have their needs met. Whenever I am working and I call her with a question she is quick to find out the answer or solution to it. Specifically, Jill had been assigned to an agitated/aggressive patient who had been placed in restraints prior to her shift. On this day, Jill was able to not only remove the restraints but had taken time to listen and sympathize with the patient that they ended up asking to speak with a chaplain regarding their faith practices by the end of her shift. This is only one example of how Jill cares personally for each and every patient she sees in a day. Nobody is more or less important than the next.
A homeless male patient under Jill's care was Baptized and given an apostolic pardon by a priest. Jill was instrumental in making sure that I (Pastoral) took care of him by requesting a spiritual consult on EPIC for him, not unusual but she also called me and then spent time talking to me before my first visit and then in-between other visits to the patient. The patient had both legs partially amputated as well as other health issues and was in a very vulnerable stage in his life. He was in a very humble state and remorseful about his past life and wanted to get baptized to connect with God in his heart. When the Baptismal Sacraments were performed, Jill was by the patient's side and he reached out his hand to Jill during the ceremony. Jill is obviously someone who is a very caring person and God has placed her in the right position in our Hospital.
