I was diagnosed with severe spinal stenosis after getting an MRI. It was determined by the doctor that he could treat my situation with surgery. I went in to have surgery at Texas Orthopedic Hospital in Houston. He and his staff did a phenomenal job in repairing and correcting my issue. While recovering from surgery, the entire staff from the surgical and pre-op doctors and nurses were great as well as the anesthesiologist and PT staff. During my two and a half day stay, the day shift nurse, Bezawit, was just so helpful and knowledgeable. She was well-prepped in her every visit throughout my stay. Her continuous upbeat attitude and bedside manner was so pleasant that I believe my wife was the first to acknowledge it. If there is a possibility of having several nurses like her, you would have a big increase in nominations such as this. I do want to point out that she really impressed me and my wife with her knowledge and delivery of my information and instructions on the day I was released from the hospital. I truly want to thank her and all the staff at TOH for a wonderful and successful procedure and stay at Fondren and TOH.
