My mother was taken to the hospital. She was intubated in the ER and then moved to the MICU. When we were finally allowed to see her, Birda was there. She introduced herself and expressed her sympathy for our situation, answering all our questions with utmost patience and clarity. c Every time Birda attended to my mother, she explained what she was doing and why, even though my mother was sedated. This reassured me that my mother was in the best care possible. To be honest, the entire JH team, from the ER to the MICU, has been sensational. I want to extend my utmost gratitude for everything they have done for my mother and our family. Birda, in particular, deserves recognition for her professionalism, bedside manner, upbeat attitude, and, most importantly, the care and respect she showed to my mother and us.
