She was very understanding and heartfelt and offered a comforting form of sympathy and understanding. She always had a smile
I went into the ER due to a genetic chronic health condition, chronic pancreatitis. As I spoke with Blondina Floro, I always make sure to share that I am a prior IV drug user. Oftentimes, I get the cold shoulder from most nursing staff after sharing the dark place I once was. With that said, today, I not only had to express that, but I also had to share I had relapsed not via IV but in general. I expected the same per usual if not worse. Dina did no such thing. She was very understanding and heartfelt and offered a comforting form of sympathy and understanding. She always had a smile, expressed and explained things, while also sharing that she understood how tough things could be especially sobriety through and out of addiction while also showing prime care and concern and maintaining the full focus on the here and now as to why I was there. She asked questions about my health condition and shared understanding enough that I felt comfortable enough to talk about what and where I had come from in my life. Being my mental health has been hitting me pretty hard, it meant more than I can ever begin to express. I feel she went above and beyond without showing anything but care and concern for my health and well-being. I am beyond grateful.
