I was a patient on 4A when a week earlier I had a massive heart attack and I was given a very grim prognosis. I have several blockages, but also have many co-morbidities, making surgery very risky, so I chose not to attempt it. It was a very tough decision to make. Many people made me feel bad for my decision, but when Bobbi came into my room, she was like a breath of fresh air.
Bobbi always made me feel special. She did the necessary things to accommodate protocol, while still caring about every single need that I had, in a loving and caring manner. Bobbi always followed through finding answers for me. She went way beyond the extra mile to ease my concerns. This young lady is a keeper. She is an asset to your hospital, and she has the true heart and soul of a dedicated nursing professional.
I had also been a patient in another floor the week before, so I had dealt with many different nurses during my two stays at Mercy. Bobbi was a cut above. Trust me please, when I say that Bobbi Chick is a nurse extraordinaire. I will never forget the kindness and extra miles she went to make a dying old lady happy.
