Bobby as nominated by the daughter of a patient, and she wrote:
My dad was in the MICU in early October. Bobby was awesome! My dad was dealing with complications of diabetes, had a stroke and was paralyzed on his left side. Bobby did all his routine checks but the most compassionate thing he did was to ask my dad if "he was afraid." Wow, that hit me! What a simple but profound question. Dad answered,"no." And later, when he passed away on October 6th, just a few days after that question, it gave me great comfort knowing that Bobby had asked that. That is the difference in just "doing your job" and really showing kindness and true caring by asking those types of questions. Bobby also explained everything in detail so we knew what was going on with Dad. What a spectacular nurse! Thank you so much, Bobby, for being such a great care giver and God bless!
