I have been receiving daily infusions at Riverbend R.I.C for 80+ days. I have found all the staff to be very competent. Last week, after I started a new oral antibiotic, as well as my usual infusion. The doctor had said he would order lab tests to check for a possible problem with these and my kidney function after 1 week of the new medication. At the time for the blood work to be drawn, no order had been received. Instead of waiting for the order, Bonnie took the time to call the doctor's office in Portland to check on the order. Because of Bonnie's extra effort, they faxed the order and the blood work was done in a timely fashion. I think this showed a compassionate and thoughtful effort that went above and beyond the excellent treatments I have already received every day. I am 77 years old; my remaining kidney is underperforming; I am a long time Eugene resident, and this was my first experience with the R.I.C. I am very grateful for the caring and competent service she provided.
