Bradee took the time to give this patient a “spa day.”
We recently had a Covid-19 patient in the Critical Care Unit for 70+ days. Almost all of those seventy days, the patient spent on a mechanical ventilator. The patient was extremely ill and required numerous hourly checks. In the midst of working in an incredibly busy critical care unit, Bradee took the time to give this patient a “spa day.” Bradee washed and braided the patient’s hair, exfoliated her skin, and clipped her nails. The compassion and care Bradee shows her patients is admired. These small acts of kindness not only comforted the patient, but also the patient’s family.
