Brad Davis took a patient and acted as the primary nurse for an ER admission. 6N was very busy that night with 3 1:1s and another patient receiving blood. We felt it would be a patient safety risk if we took another patient without additional nursing staff. Brad did all of the admission paperwork and assessments and stayed as the primary nurse for three hours until a nurse came in to cover at 2300. This was highly unexpected and appreciated. No one asked the nursing supervisor to do this, and we are very thankful!

Brad Davis is a great nursing supervisor, but he really did go above and beyond to accommodate the needs of the patient and the nursing section. Brad is a shining example of what it means to be an outstanding nurse and an effective bed manager!
