When I went to visit my father-in-law the next afternoon, Brandon came by to see how he was doing in the ICU. Such a kind and thorough nurse!
I would like to nominate Brandon for the DAISY Award for the outstanding care and compassion he has provided to two of my family members and me. His professionalism, empathy, and dedication to his patients stood out as exceptional all 3 times. He goes above and beyond to make us feel reassured and safe during those high-anxiety moments. We are deeply grateful for his care, and we would love for him to be recognized for the difference he makes in the lives of his patients.

Brandon was amazing. He took the time to explain exactly everything that was happening and what he and the attending were doing to help my father-in-law with his newly diagnosed heart failure along with COVID-19. Brandon was kind and considerate, checking in constantly with us and patiently answering my questions. Brandon was excellent at trying to calm down my very agitated/combative father-in-law, which is no easy feat.
When I went to visit my father-in-law the next afternoon, Brandon came by to see how he was doing in the ICU. Such a kind and thorough nurse! I know this because my older daughter received a DAISY nomination as a new nurse (at a different hospital), and my younger daughter is about to graduate as an RN as well. Brandon, I offer you my heartfelt thanks and a big hug (if it was appropriate, lol)! He is a keeper! If we end up in the NW ER again, I will specifically ask if Brandon is working and if he can help us.
