Breanna is an excellent nurse with great nursing skills, and she is also kind, caring, and compassionate. Breanna provided wonderful care to my husband. She gave him his medications, bathed him, dressed him, helped him get from the bed to the chair and back to the bed, always in an extremely timely manner and with a smile and caring attitude. She was also extremely kind to me, especially during some very stressful situations. Breanna's calming, caring presence helped me tremendously. She was the only nurse who always asked me how I was doing and if she could do anything to help me, like getting me some tea to keep me calm. When my husband was finally given food through a feeding tube, she not only showed me what to do but explained that it would be slightly different at home. She also took the time to write down for me how the feeding tube process worked and how long it would take for my husband to reach his main mL goal. If she had not written down all this information, I could have not remembered this information in my state of distress. I cannot express how much I appreciate all she did and how she went out of her way to help me and my husband. She is also a wonderful mentor. This showed in the case of my husband in the care he received from a nurse trained by Breanna.
Again, I cannot express my gratitude for all Breanna did to care for us. She deserves to be recognized for the outstanding nurse she is here at AdventHealth Hospital. Any patient she has is extremely fortunate to have such a wonderful nurse like her as their caregiver. She is the best-of-the-best. She should give training to all nurses, especially in how to treat the family of patients.
