When my daughter was admitted to the ICU for the second time in three months it was extremely emotional for her. She was not just in physical pain, but she thought she was going to die.
From the moment Breanna walked into our room she was not only very professional but also kind and compassionate. She talked to my daughter (who is 21 years old) in a calming manner and treated her as if she had known her forever. She took the time to assess my daughter's medical needs, but also to talk and listen to her concerns without judgment.
Breanna asked my daughter about college and what career path she was taking and she immediately put her at ease with the situation at hand. She made sure that not only was my daughter comfortable and taken care of but that I was, as well.
As a parent who is sitting in the hospital for 10 days not knowing what the outcome will be, Breanna did her very best to help support us medically, physically, and emotionally. I believe that she played a huge role in getting my daughter healthier. She was the sweetest and best nurse we have ever had the pleasure of meeting.
