Our baby girl became ill and she was sent to surgery. My husband and I are both nurses, and we were nervous to send our baby to surgery. The night of surgery, we watched her slowly worsen. Our baby could not communicate with us and was screaming in pain. As parents and nurses, we felt helpless. We were blessed when Breanna walked in. We knew we could trust her, and our baby was in good hands!

After thoroughly assessing our daughter and reviewing her chart, she knew something wasn’t right. She immediately came to us and listened to our concerns. Within a couple of minutes, we had the surgical team at our bedside. Breanna let us know multiple times of all the resources available to us, and if we did not feel our concerns were taken seriously, she had a plan to get more people involved. We were amazed at her professionalism. She is compassionate, smart and incredibly kind. In a day of being scared and uncertain, we felt safe and relaxed. She is an all-around hero.
