In my almost 40 years of nursing, Brenda is at the top of the list as one of the best nurses I have ever worked with.

Brenda went above and beyond late one evening to help a patient in pain-which helped move the patient toward discharge to home rather than to be admitted to the hospital.
As soon as her current patient was discharged, she assumed care for one of the patients that needed additional support for pain control. She did not have to ask. She saw what the patient needed and jumped in without hesitation-knowing she was available and patient had an unmet need.

Our Professional Practice Model is Relationship Centered Care. Brenda's nursing practice exemplifies Relationship Centered Care, over and over. Her actions, described by her coworker, demonstrate our nursing values of mindfulness, interrelatedness, and evidence based practice care delivery.
