After having appendix surgery Brenda tried to make me as comfortable as she could. For example, she brought many pillows to my room and that really helped because she was able to position me in many comfortable positions through the night that I stayed. Also, every time she came to my room when I called her for help she was cheering me on stating that I was a very brave girl that I was doing better as the hours passed by.
Not only that but, RN Brenda was super kind by assisting me to go to the bathroom and staying by my side till I was through and she would help me back to bed. Another thing is, that she brought me water and crackers to my room, she opened the crackers for me and would hold the water cup to my mouth when I had to take my medication because I was in pain and I could not even hold the cup. In addition, she helped me walk after a few hours of my surgery because it was ordered by the doctor. Brenda would also come and check on me even if I did not call her to know I was doing good but, also to ask if I needed any help with anything. To conclude, there are no words to explain how grateful I was to have Brenda Jenkins as my nurse because was very kind respectful, and very helpful to me and my family. RN Brenda really did a great job taking care of me because she made me feel good when I was in pain. I truly thank her for being a DAISY Nurse.
