through it all, Brian has been there working tirelessly and diligently. He has been so compassionate, caring, and sweet.
My 62-year-old dad has been struggling with serious health issues on and off for the past five years. My mom and I have seen hundreds of nurses at four to five different hospitals. However, we have never had a nurse as incredible as Brian Bronsky. My dad has been in the Neuro ICU at MVH, fighting for his life for the past few weeks. He has endocarditis that has caused six acute strokes and pneumonia.
This has been such an emotional roller-coaster and a terrifying and exhausting time for our family, as it’s just awful to see my dad on a ventilator, fighting for his life. However, through it all, Brian has been there working tirelessly and diligently. He has been so compassionate, caring, and sweet. He has taken time to sit and explain everything that’s going on with my dad in detail, giving us the good, the bad, and the ugly.
The care he has given my dad has been impeccable. He goes above and beyond to make sure my dad has the most amazing care possible. He always has a positive attitude and calls us every morning/evening with updates, good or bad. He also has been concerned about my mom and I. Every day, he made sure we were ok, knowing we had been on an emotionally exhausting journey. When he tells us to go home and rest, that he has got him, we can leave knowing our loved one is being well taken care of.
We have really gotten to know him in the past two weeks, as he has been my dad’s nurse every shift he has worked. We look forward to seeing him and are sad when he is off for two days. We hug him hello and goodbye. He truly feels like family and has made this whole experience a little easier to handle. We can’t say enough amazing things about Brian. Thank you again, Brian. Our family is forever grateful!
