D's heart stopped while conversing with Brian and he immediately went into action, called a Code, and started CPR before the Code team got to the room (which was very quick.)
Being a Vietnam Veteran suffering several maladies related to Agent Orange exposure during the war (kidney failure being one of them) my husband D has been here a lot unfortunately due to his health. We have become friends with the staff and they feel like family. During D's admission in May of this year, D and Brian were having a friendly conversation about Brian fishing and his boat, etc. D's heart stopped while conversing with Brian and he immediately went into action, called a Code, and started CPR before the Code team got to the room (which was very quick.) Brian had D back with us. Brian was also on top of D's care realizing something wasn't right during dialysis and called D's vascular surgeon. A fistula gram was done and a clot was found. Two times that day Brian saved D's life and was our hero! He is friendly, obviously very knowledgeable, caring, detail-oriented, and kind. Do not let this nurse go! He is an asset to this hospital and all the patients he touches. A true hero and angel!! From a grateful wife!!!
