Bri's support and care made me a confident first-time Mom leaving the hospital. First, her passion for caring for babies is very noticeable. The moment she came into our room and saw our daughter, she said she had recognized her the night before and was watching her while training our night shift nurse.
Secondly, Bri stopped in (outside of the normally scheduled checks) just to see how I was doing as a mom and if she could help swaddle or soothe my baby. This act of kindness led to a conversation and her coming back at 2:00 am (not a scheduled time) just to help me breastfeed and soothe my baby during cluster feeding. Her additional efforts and care made me not only feel supported but successful and confident in breastfeeding. Her tips not only made my latch successful but also slowed the cluster feeding. I now feel confident in going home with my new baby!
