We love Brittani and she forever changed our lives and our son's life.
My husband and I were recently at Banner Thunderbird Hospital where our son spent 20 days in the NICU. We had a different nurse almost every shift that we were there, and this contributed to difficulty with continuity of care for our son where different care was being provided on different days.
Britani was our nurse for two days and from the time she walked into the room it was evident that she knew our son's condition well and she was confident in caring for babies like him. She greatly helped us keep him calm and on schedule for hopeful discharge soon. We had her again and we were struggling with getting him ready to fully discharge. She picked up a shift the next day to ensure continuity of care so that our son could get out of the NICU and home where he needed to be. She provided countless tips to us for success and educated us on our son's condition and what to do in the hospital as well as long-term at home for success and to help our son thrive.
Even as a nurse myself, I have never met a nurse that had such passion for her patients and embodied the true spirit of a selfless person trying to truly help others better their health and self-care. To have such compassion and genuine concern for complete strangers even to the point of inconveniencing yourself to help them thrive and provide them the tools for success, what greater gift could we have been given as a nurse for our son! We love Brittani and she forever changed our lives and our son's life. I cannot wait to tell him someday of the amazing nurse that took the time to listen to us and really cared about him to help him get out of the NICU and thrive. What a true blessing to have Brittani at your facility!
