I think Ms. Brittani, my nurse on the 3rd floor, deserves the DAISY Award due to her work ethic. She always made me feel comfortable and relaxed. I've worked with a lot of nurses during my 19-day stay at the hospital and I'm not the best person to oversee, but Brittani always smiled and was always nice to me. I was working with physical therapy on my walking and she never saw me out of the bed, so the smile on her face when the therapist walked me to the door motivated me even more because it showed she does care about her patients. I had to let her know that she does her job well; it made me cry to see her care. I asked her how long she worked for the hospital and she replied 6 months. It shocked me because she shows outstanding work ethic as if she has been working here 5 years or more!
