She cares about her patients, and that's what's most important.
I had a very wonderful experience with Brittany the nurse. She is a means to a solution, not a source to the problem. It's bad enough you go through what you have to and it can be so uncomfortable, but these nurses here go above and beyond the call of duty. It's more than just quality care. For us veterans, I guess it reminds me of when I was in the service, when we would do more than we get paid for. That's the quality of your nurse here at Drs Regional.

Brittany helped me through all the pain that I suffered while she was on and even when I wasn't her patient. She helped me with the excruciating pain to be as comfortable as I could, and it doesn't cover what she did for me and how she would go the extra mile. This service is what we call going above the call of duty. She cares about her patients, and that's what's most important. When a nurse comes in and smiles and simply asks, “Is there anything you need?” or “What can I help you with?” it really means a whole lot. It helps reassure you that at the end of the tunnel, there's a light and that you're going to make it through this trying time. That's why these nurses are so important. They help you get through what is likely the most difficult time in your life, never giving up on you no matter how bad your conditions are. They will be there to help you, whether it be to make it to the restroom, get you medication, or maybe just provide the high-quality care they provide.

I cannot speak enough for Brittany. I'm comfortable and very pleased with everything that all of these ladies and gentlemen do, but Brittany goes the extra mile, and there aren’t enough words to describe how important it is that she is recognized for this effort. May you continue to do the great work that you are doing. God bless you. I cannot say enough for this beautiful hospital. I know that I'm going to get better slowly, and I am better off than I was when I got here.
