I was brought into the ICU after a horrible and scary night I don't remember in the ER. I was told I was violent to staff, even needing chemical restraint. When I came to ICU I wanted to be released and I was very nasty-not wanting but needing to be in the ICU for issues relating to high blood sugar. Brittany managed to calm me down, convince me to stay, and never made me feel like I had been a horrible person. She was kind and concerned for my well being and looked out for me like no other nurse here had. She made me feel safe and cared for. She continued to watch out for me during my stay too. She really went above and beyond.
