My husband has been admitted to the hospital on multiple occasions. During that time, we encountered many nurses and faced many tough situations. For the last two days, my husband has been lucky enough to have Bronson as his day nurse. I visit my husband every day from 8 am until about 9 or 10 at night. Bronson has repeatedly shown amazing kindness through his words and actions. He repositioned my husband again and again and ordered wedges to help. He has responded to my husband's request by doing all he can to make him comfortable. He also spends time answering all my questions clearly and helps me understand what is going on. He helps me understand what to expect with my husband's condition and changes in his care. He also does an amazing job communicating with other departments, including the kitchen. In addition, when my husband pushes the call button, he responds with a smile and asks my husband what he needs instead of me. He has encouraged me to eat and sleep, which shows how he goes above and beyond not only for his patients but also their family members. Being here for 12 hours and handling all the stress of patients, family, and staff takes a special individual. Even today, after leaving at 6:30 pm, he put his hand on my shoulder to remind me he would be back in the morning and all week. Thank you, Bronson!
