Bryant took care of my father after he suffered cardiac arrest following a GI hemorrhage. It was just a few days earlier that we found out my father had advanced pancreatic cancer and seemingly was declining quickly. During this time period, we experienced a multitude of nurses, but Bryant and the whole ICU team were exquisite the night of (not just nurses, but people too).

My mom and I were allowed to stay in the ICU overnight with him while he was touch and go, and the compassion, intellect, and pure responsiveness to my father I wholeheartedly believe kept him alive.

Bryant, I've been wanting to express my gratitude to you since that night. You are an amazing nurse, and we appreciate all you did. While every day seems to be a new adventure during this period of time, it's because of you (and nurses like you) that allowed my father the ability to come home and watch his grandchildren play, and sleep in his own bed. Thank you for being brave enough, kind enough, and strong enough to do this job.
