I had Bryce as one of my many nurses during my month-long stay at Ochsner Baptist. One of the things that stood out to me about Bryce was her compassion. She lit up the room when she walked in! I was transferred an hour away from my home and was in such a bad place being away from my family for so long. I had been in such a depressed state that she made it seem like we had been friends forever, and she had quickly become one of my favorite people. Bryce offered me comfort and encouragement and let me know that if I needed anything, I could reach out to her at any time, and she would be there!

Throughout my stay, I had been moved to different floors, and no matter where I was, she made it a point to stop in and check on me! Once my baby was born, Bryce made it a point to stop in and congratulate me, give me the biggest hug, and sit and talk with me about everything! She really goes above and beyond for her patients and their families, and I could not be more thankful for the encounters she had with me throughout my stay here! She quickly became someone I looked forward to seeing throughout the day and someone who made my day! Everyone should be like Bryce! We love her!
