Brynn shared her experience with me and made me feel comfortable that she could relate to my anxiety.
Brynn provides her patients with a level of comfort that goes above and beyond and provides her patients with compassionate care. She consistently provides her patients with a high level of care and her patients and colleagues describe her as the definition of an extraordinary nurse. Working on the maternity unit, Brynn and her team are part of some of their patients' most special memories, but it can also be a time of anxiety for new parents. Brynn exudes a calming presence for her patients, in addition to helping them feel confident and learn how to care for their new bundle of joy, she makes every one of her patients feel cared for. She has an exceptional bedside manner and takes the time out of her busy day to ensure her patients feel they are genuinely cared for. One of her patients described Brynn with the statement:
“It’s people like you who make the world a better place. Brynn has been my nurse on the OB unit and I am so grateful for her honesty. She has not only been caring for me but for my newborn son. I've had anxiety due to not being able to produce breastmilk for my son and a lot of issues trying to feed him...Brynn spent a lot of time teaching me about hand expression and encouraging me about my ability to breastfeed....she made me feel super comfortable and cared for me. She shared her experience with me and made me feel comfortable that she could relate to my anxiety. She put together a feeding plan for my baby that I could easily follow. Honestly, that helped so much... She is the definition of an Extraordinary Nurse. She went beyond her job title for me and my son- I will be forever grateful for taking the time to genuinely care for us, help me with breastfeeding, and for my well-being."
