Brynn Howell and Kaylee Sackett went above and far beyond their duties as nurses as they cared for my wife. My wife was admitted over the weekend for severe abdominal pain and ended up in emergency surgery. From the moment Brynn and Kaylee walked into her room, they were super friendly, happy, warm, and skilled. They looked out for my wife's every need for the three days they were her nurse. As an example, my wife was holding her stomach one evening when Brynn came in, and she asked my wife if there was anything she could do about the pain. She recommended several things, one of which was a heating pad. My wife chose the heating pad, and Brynn went to work searching for an available one at the hospital. Every time Brynn and Kaylee came into our room, they checked with my wife, comforted her, joked with her to get her smiling, and attended to every need and more. I have never in my 50+ years seen this level of devotion and care. We felt like they were taking care of their family, not patient. On top of the pages of amazing things I could say about their talents, skills, devotion, and support, they brought tears to my wife's and my eyes by coming in after their shift to check on her and drop off a very beautiful blanket and get-well cards they took time and money out of their personal lives for. I work in IT and for a major medical company and have never seen this level of dedication and love in all my years. We are truly blessed to have them in our lives and as our nurses. Thank you, Brynn. Thank you, Kaylee. And thank you, Intermountain Healthcare, for having and keeping top-level staff who do more than their jobs each and every day. They save lives in so many ways!
