We had to come to visit the ER after my daughter was bitten by a stray cat. You can imagine our frustration and anxiety after 10 days of not being able to catch and observe the critter. This left us in the unfortunate situation of being better safe than sorry. We knew we were facing the dreaded rabies vaccines series. What a total bummer!
Enter nurse Callie! What a blessing to our family. She was so kind, caring and professional. She treated my sweet little girl with the greatest of care. She was so gentle, and you could just sense her tenderness. She encouraged H before the shots and praised her bravery after. She even took time to comfort a sympathetic sibling who had to tag along. Yet again, a wonderful experience at Roane Medical.
Callie, you are amazing! Thank you for loving my baby well. We still have three visits ahead, but she isn't dreading them, thanks to you! I asked H why nurse Callie was special, she said the following, "She made me feel confident. She didn't jab me with the needle hard - she was gentle. Also, she didn't put the band-aid on too tight!" You go Nurse Callie; we will be requesting you for round number two on next Saturday.
