She was very engaging, accommodating, and a great patient advocate.
Her energy from the time we met until we departed was everything. She took care of my baby as if she was her own. She was consistent and made rounds as a nurse should. She was very engaging, accommodating, and a great patient advocate. My baby was having weight trouble outside of her RSV and where I couldn’t seem to get through she did and made things happen for the good.

I can’t even begin to tell you how much this nurse made my visit more than I could’ve ever asked for. Every shift change I looked forward to the next day knowing she would be back. This nurse was very attentive to me and my son. If he was in pain she did everything to try and make him feel more comfortable. Whether it be medication, changing the linens, or even a diaper. She did it without hesitation. If I could give her a promotion I would. She’s one nurse that I’ll never forget. She is professional yet down-to-earth kind. I watched my night nurses not take my son as planned in the morning for a dressing change on his I.V. to get blood, and wait it out because they said Candie was the best at it. She is definitely a nurse you do not want to lose. She is an asset and deserves to be recognized for her hard work. And she doesn’t even try, it comes naturally.

Works amazingly with kids. My daughter had a not-so-pleasant experience with a nurse sticking her for labs which had her traumatized and made her act out when she had to do lab or IV. Well, Candie was able to start her IV with her first stick she was very thorough with cleaning the area before she began to start the IV and placed tape and gauze as needed to prevent skin irritations/scratches. After the IV was completed she went the extra mile by giving my daughter her favorite cookies which put a big smile on her face. When I see someone show that they truly care about the patient I really appreciate it. The least I can do is nominate Candi for the DAISY Award she truly deserves it. Oh, and she did this while explaining the process to student nurses.

Very kind helpful loving she cares about people and she's beautiful.
