Cari is a nurse who cares for her patients with tremendous compassion and dedication Cari was nominated for the DAISY award by parents of a patient whom she cared for during the weeks he was a patient in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. His parents commended Cari for not only the care she provided their son, but the compassion she showed them. They appreciated how she was informative and explained everything to them, making a very scary time in their life less scary. Cari also showed them that she always had their child's best interest at heart. The care and compassion she provided this family allowed them to get some sleep at night. It is fair to say that Cari truly provided the best and safest care to this patient and family.
