Carlee provided professional and positive care.
I was a direct admission from the VA for possible cardiovascular problems. As a retired Firefighter/EMT-I knew a lot of what was happening. But I was still very concerned with my condition. Carlee introduced herself to me and was very friendly and professional. Carlee took the time to explain what was going to take place the next day. Carlee took the time to explain everything in detail in a way anyone could understand. I would ask about the results; Carlee would look up the results for me and tell me what was on the computer.

I have severe PTSD; I informed Carlee about it, and she asked about my triggers. I informed Carlee that I have been known to come up fighting when I'm awakened. I have witnessed Carlee telling the team about my situation, and all they would need to do is stand at the door and call out my name. Then, I'd wake up and be okay. Lastly, Carlee always showed concern about me not being able to sleep. Tonight is my third night on the unit, and I have only slept about two hours. I have been put on a new sleeping medication through the VA. My second night Carlee got with the I doctor on duty and ask him to provide the medication for me.

Throughout my stay on the unit, Carlee provided professional and positive care. Needless to say, I was very concerned about my situation, if it wasn't for Carlee I would have been more worried about my condition.
