Carly steps up to provide care and education for her patients and families. She is involved in all aspects of care and willing to take on new responsibilities.
P- Carly has shown consistent passion and compassion in the nursing care she provides to her patients. She is currently doing her capstone hours in the L/D unit at Ascension VC in Manhattan, KS. She is eager to learn and shares her love of working in this unit.
E-Carly has demonstrated empathy throughout the three semesters I have been her nursing faculty. She is an active listener and present in the moment with her patients, staff nurses and instructors. She always has a smile and is willing to help in all situations.
T-Carly is trustworthy and a team player when working with patients, nurse mentors and her peers. She is dependable in her nursing student role and displays enthusiasm, commitment, and energy when working in the hospital setting. She has enjoyed her time during capstone and adapted well to the unit staff and responsibilities.
A-Carly is a hands on learner. She is able to critically think on her feet and find solutions to problems. She has a knack for figuring things out such as NG tubes and IV placements when the first attempt is not successful. She is very comfortable in the clinical setting.

S-Carly is very giving to others. She is there when you need her and willing to always put her patients' needs first. She is very flexible and adaptable in all situations in the hospital and school settings. She is a kindhearted and loving person. She will make an excellent nurse!
