From the first time she cared for my daughter, Caroline quickly adapted to my daughter’s wants and needs. She knew how to make my daughter laugh and smile when she was sad or just moody. And only she knew how to soothe my daughter when she was not feeling well or in pain by just her soft gentle words. She was very helpful in the middle of the night. Caroline wouldn’t bother waking me up to change my daughter, she would do it herself. When Caroline was in charge to care for my daughter, there would be many nights I would wake up to find that my daughter’s diaper was dry because it had already been changed. I don’t see this as Caroline’s job, but more as a passion to care for children. It just comes naturally for her. Cook Children’s has done an excellent job of having Caroline on their team of nurses. I know Caroline will be an inspiration to others. Thank you, Caroline, for treating us as a friend and not just as a patient.
