It was then discussed how important it was for his wife to be present. Carolyn did not want the patient's daughter or grand-daughter to leave in such a critical time or have the wife drive distressed. Carolyn drove to the patient's wife to bring her in safely to say her goodbyes to her husband. Carolyn has always gone above and beyond for patients and their families, but this tops the cake.
