It is with great honor that am able I recognize Carrie Detente as a deserving Recipient of the DAISY Award. Carrie is an Extraordinary Nurse with a kindred spirit. Carrie is known for taking clothes home from our Homeless patients, only to return them the next day clean, preserving their dignity. Carrie brings shampoo, conditioner and other toiletries from home for patient use, striving to give every patient the care and attention she would give a member of her own family. She has a true Heart of Gold, strong faith and advocates for the patient's best interest. Carrie
shows empathy and promise, her smile is infectious, her dimples charming, and she makes an important difference in all the patient's lives she touches.
