Cassandra was so loving and caring, the compassion was palpable.
Cassandra was wonderful with my mother; caring and pleasant. Always had a sense of humor and was quite friendly. She needs to be recognized for how professionally she handled a delicate situation between me and my mom's physician regarding imaging needs. Cassandra kept checking on the progress, always staying focused, polite, and kind.

Amazing! A Real Professional above and beyond! As part of the Virtual Visitation Team, we often saw patients multiple days in a row. This one week we had a patient whose significant other was in the ICU and we provided her visitation with him via the iPad. I watched Cassandra take special care of this woman and I listened to the advice she was giving to the patient on how to control her breathing while talking and also in anticipation of the anxiety she might feel when seeing her significant other so ill. Cassandra was so loving and caring, the compassion was palpable. The following day I walked in the room and Cassandra had washed the patient's hair, bathed her head to toe, and had her all ready to see her significant other during their virtual visit. Cassandra supported this patient in every way and even hugged her despite the face shield, gown, and gloves. Not one of the three of us in the room realized this, but this would be one of the last times this patient was able to see her significant other, and, in fact, this was one of the last times she would ever have her hair washed or receive a hug. Both she and her significant other succumbed to their illnesses while at AHNSB. The care that Cassandra provided to her patient was incredible. I am so proud to work alongside someone as empathetic as her.
