I just want to say thanks for the care that Cassie gave my best friend while she was in the ICU. Cassie was amazing with the family and care for the patient, so loving. When I first found out my friend was here in ICU, I came into her room with Cassie fluffing and puffing my friend. She was doing all she could to make sure she was very comfortable even though at that point we knew she was brain dead. That showed real feelings and compassion in a nurse to still take care of a patient that way. Later on I came to find out that after I left and when the family decided to take my friend off of the ventilator, the family also decided to leave my friend before her passing. Cassie had tried to get a hold of me to come stay with my friend so she had someone to be there with her. I had already left for the day so Cassie being the amazing nurse she is, stayed at my friend's bedside and held her hand until my friend passed away. That is what you call an outstanding and loving nurse. She showed me that day that she really cares for her patients. Thank you Cassie!
