The vision of The Sydney Children's Hospitals Network is to put children first and foremost. The DAISY Award helps us to recognize and acknowledge the extraordinary work that nurses do everyday in collaboration with colleagues and families to deliver patient centered care. The inaugural DAISY Awards for The Sydney Children's Hospitals Network were recently presented to Kathryn Pressler (The Children's Hospital at Westmead) and Catherine Ferguson (The Sydney Children's Hospital, Randwick). The recipients were chosen from over 100 DAISY Award nominations submitted from the Sydney Children's Hospitals Network staff and families.
